Citrus Springs Golf & Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Citrus Springs, Florida.
Citrus Springs Golf & Country Club first opened for play in 1972. The course was designed by Charles Almony.
The course is described as having a good layout with lots of opportunities for risk/reward play. There are a number of dog-legs and a few hidden pins.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,664 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,501 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 556 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 16, a par-3 that plays to 153 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 2, a 400-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Citrus Springs Golf Course is # 16, the 153 yard par-3.

Pretty good, we played there twice in March 2012. A fair/good test of golf skill, we played from the 6,1xx yd white tees. Greens were pretty good. Lunch food was lacking when we made the turn. They did not care that we brought coolers with us.

Nice layout, but the conditions are little below par.
